Artist Jon Rollins joins the European tour of his latest paintings at the March 15 opening of Hide-and-Seek at Espacio Contemplación in. The tour of emerging artists is sponsored by the art initiative Ars Coco. Jon is one of two American born artists invited to exhibit in the tour of ten artists from around the world. The tour will travel through Spain and across Europe during the next year.
Rollins will attend and provide talk on his latest works at Madrid gallery
During the exhibition, Jon will provide a talk on his works. He will discuss how he uses process, materials, and intuition as a means of searching the canvas for forms and answers. Hide-and-Seek opens March 15 at 8 PM CET at at Espacio Contemplación. The gallery is located at Arturo Soria 214, Madrid (+34 669 813 538 / firstname.lastname@example.org).

Jon Rollins (b. 1991) makes abstract and non-representational work through media experimentation and variations of process. His works evolve through oscillations of spontaneous, intuitive movements and methodical structuring, ranging from chance marks to grid layouts. His imagery incorporates realistic cues, doodles, abstracted forms, and patterns. He received his BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2013. He lives and works in High Point, NC.
